ExxonMobil Chemical has developed a range of ExxonMobil Polypropylene grades for the production of metallised films or films used in impregnated capacitors.
ExxonMobil PP resins have a very low level of impurities. This means the capacitor has a longer life span:
- extremely low levels of volatile and catalyst residues: up to 5 times less volatiles than competitive grades
- high standards of cleanliness during manufacturing and packaging
Main applications include electronic components — fridges, TV sets, radios, and high voltage equipment.
Our Exxelor polyolefinic modifiers are used in electric applications such as connectors.
Our other products used are Jayflex, Polyethylene, Exact Plastomers.
