ExxonMobil NTX™ super hexene enhanced polyethylene
Exxco™ enhanced PE for extrusion coating
Linear low density resins are the fastest growing polyethylenes due to their penetration in the film market offering a balance of toughness and stiffness. Its outstanding toughness relative to other products has opened new application areas in addition to facilitating material savings through downgauging in existing applications. LLDPE is used either pure or in rich-blends with LDPE on extrusion equipment designed to optimize output.
ExxonMobil NTX super hexene copolymer LLDPE was developed primarily for institutional, consumer and industrial liners. This advanced LLDPE allows converters to downgauge liners by as much as 15%-25% without sacrificing strength. What's more, NTX super hexene resins have significant advantages over HMW HDPE films in processability and properties, especially puncture resistance and strength.
Exxco™ enhanced polyethylene was developed for extrusion coating applications. This resin delivers exceptional plastomer-like performance to help protect the contents of liquid containers, primarily for paper and paperboard applications.
ExxonMobil Chemical also provides LLDPE grades both injection molding and rotational molding applications.
